Post a prayer request

Do this when you want your church family to pray for you or for someone you care about.

Who can do this: Your role needs View or Edit access to Prayer Wall.

1. Open the Prayer Wall. On a computer, click Prayer Wall in the menu. On a phone, tap More, then Prayer Wall.
2. Click + Prayer Request. On a phone, it is a round button at the bottom right, just above the tab bar.
3. In the Submit a Prayer Request window, type your request in the Prayer Request box.
4. To hide your name, check Post anonymously.
5. Click Submit.

You see “Prayer request submitted.” Your request shows on the My Requests tab.

Good to know

• A request can have up to 1,000 characters. The counter under the box shows how many you used.
• Submit stays off until you type something.
• A request posted anonymously shows the name Anonymous on the Prayer Wall.
• Your church can choose to check each request before it shows on the Prayer Wall. Then your request shows a Pending Approval badge until staff approve it.
• You cannot edit a request after you post it. To fix it, delete it and post it again. See Delete a prayer request.
