Set up church emails

Do this so that emails from Project Go Hub show your church’s name, get replies at the correct address, and end with your church’s details.

Who can do this: You need Edit access to Customization.

Set the Reply-To email

Replies to messages sent through the app go to this address.

1. On a computer, click Settings in the menu, then Customization. On a phone, tap More, then Settings, then Customization.
2. Click Reply-To Email. On a phone, choose it in the list at the top of the screen.
3. In the Reply-To Email field, type the email address.
4. Click Save.

You see Reply-To Email updated!

Set the From name

People see this name as the sender of emails from the app.

1. In Customization, click From Name.
2. In the From Name field, type the name.
3. Click Save.

You see From Name updated! Leave the field empty to use your congregation’s official name.

Write the email footer

The footer shows at the bottom of emails sent from the app.

1. In Customization, click Footer.
2. In the Footer box, type the text. For example, type the church name and the address of the building.
3. Click Save.

You see Footer uploaded!

Good to know

• To undo a change before you save, click Cancel.
• If you change a section and click a different section before you save, you see Are you sure you want to cancel? Click No, Go Back to keep working, or Yes, Leave to lose your changes.

If it does not work

• “Please enter a valid email address”: Check the Reply-To email for typing errors.
• “Display Name is too long”: Make the From name shorter. The limit is 255 characters.
• “Footer is required”: Type some text in the footer.
• “Footer cannot exceed 255 characters”: Make the footer shorter.
