View a file

Do this when you want to look at a file that your church shared, such as a form, a bulletin or class material.

Who can do this: anyone who is logged in.

  1. Open Files. On a computer, click Files in the menu. On a phone, tap More, then Files.
  2. To open a folder, click its row.
  3. Click the file’s row. On a computer, you can also click the eye icon on the right of the row.

A picture, video or audio file opens in a window. The window shows the file’s name at the top and a Download button. Any other file opens in a new browser tab.

When you are in a folder, a path shows above the list. It starts with Files. To go back, click Files or a folder name in the path.

  • In the phone app, a picture, video or audio file opens in the app. Any other file opens in your phone’s browser.
  • On a phone, if you can edit Files, you can also tap the three dots on the row, then View.
  • If a folder is empty, you see “This folder is empty”.

To find a file by name or type, see Find a file.

  • “Your files did not load”: Check your internet connection, then click Try again.

Email info@project-go.com. Tell us your church name and what you tried.
