Add or remove items in a section

Some sections hold a list of items, like questions or classes. You can add an item with the blue + Add button under the list, or take one out with its red ×.

Add an item

1. Open the page in the builder.
2. Find the blue button under the list. Its words name what it adds:
   • + Add a question, under a list of questions, such as the FAQ accordion section.
   • + Add a belief, under a list of beliefs, such as the one on About Us.
   • + Add a class, under class cards, such as the Children’s Bible classes section.
   • + Add a step, under the steps on the Plan of Salvation page.
   • + Add an elder, + Add a deacon or + Add an evangelist, under the leaders on About Us.
   • + Add a schedule item, under the rows of a Schedule section, such as on the Gospel Meeting and VBS pages.
3. Click the button. The new item lands at the end of the list.
4. Click its words and type your own. A new item says things like Enter question here or New Class Name until you do.

Note

The steps in a Numbered steps section added from the Add a section window are a fixed set. You can change their words, but not add or remove steps. Only the steps on the Plan of Salvation page can be added and removed.

Add a leader

1. Click + Add an elder, + Add a deacon or + Add an evangelist. A window with that name opens.
2. Type the person’s name in Name.
3. Click Add.

The person is added with a placeholder photo. Click the photo on the page to put theirs in. See Edit your church leaders.

Add or change a schedule row

1. Click + Add a schedule item. The Add a schedule item window opens.
2. Fill in Month (e.g. JAN), Day, Title and Time. The month takes three letters.
3. Click Add.

To change a row later, click it. The Edit schedule item window opens. Change it and click Save.

Remove an item

1. Point to the item. A red × appears at its corner.
2. Click the ×. The item is removed at once. There is no question first.

To bring it back, click Undo in the top bar right away. See Undo a change.

Tip

Testimonials have their own window. See Edit testimonials.

On a phone

The + Add buttons and the red × always show on a phone. Tap them. Undo is under Tools in the top bar.

If it does not work

• You do not see a + Add button: That section has a fixed number of items. Change the words, or pick a different section. See Add a section.
• You removed the wrong item: Click Undo in the top bar.
• Publish stops on sample names: Replace every sample elder, deacon and evangelist with your own, or remove them. See Edit your church leaders.
