Set your church name and address

Church info is filled in once and used everywhere. Your name, address, phone and email show in the header, the top bar, the footer, the maps and the contact forms.

1. In the panel on the left, under Your website, click Church info.
2. Type your church’s name in Church name.
3. Type your street, town, state and ZIP code in Address. Write it as Street, Town, ST ZIP. The town goes into your site’s title in search results.
4. Type your Phone.
5. Type your Email. Every form on your site sends its messages here, unless you name other addresses in Form settings on that form.
6. Click Save.
7. Click Publish to put the changes on your live site.

Note

The template’s own sentences still name a sample church, street and town. Click those words on the page and type your own. See Change the words on a page.

If it does not work

• “That is the template’s own name” or “That is the template’s own address”: The box still holds the sample. Type your own. Check That is really our name or That is really our address only if the sample really is yours.
• “That is the template’s own number” or “That is the template’s own email”: Type your church’s own phone number or email address. Publish waits until you do.
• “That is not an email address. Write it like office@yourchurch.org. Every form on the site sends here.”: Fix the typing mistake in Email.
• “That is not a phone number.”: Write it like (334) 555-0142.
