Duplicate a page

Duplicating a page saves you from building a similar page again. The copy has every word, photo and section you changed on the original.

  1. In the panel on the left, under Pages, point to the page you want to copy. A gear appears beside it.
  2. Click the gear. Page settings opens.
  3. Click Duplicate page.

The builder opens the copy. It is named like the original with (copy) at the end, for example About Us (copy). Its address ends in -copy, for example /about-us-copy/.

The copy is a DRAFT. It is not on your live site yet.

  1. Click the gear beside the copy to open its Page settings.
  2. Change Page title to the name you want. See Rename a page or change its address.
  3. Change the Slug to match the new name.
  4. Switch Page published on when the page is ready, then click Save. See Show or hide a page.

You can copy a whole page, but not a single section. To get a second section like one you have, add the same section from the Add a section window. See Add a section.

Tap » to open the pages panel. The gear shows beside every page without pointing.

  • The copy is not in your menu: A new page is never added to a menu by itself. See Change your menus.
  • “Your site is being published. Wait for it to finish before changing anything.”: Wait a minute, then try again.
