Show your Google rating
The top of your Plan Your Visit page has a small badge for your Google rating, like 4.9 and 46 Google reviews. It stays off your live site until you type in your own rating.
You need a Google Business Profile with reviews. You type the rating in yourself. It does not update on its own.
- In the panel on the left, under Pages, click Plan Your Visit.
- At the top of the page, click the rating badge. Until you add a rating, it is faded and says Add your Google rating. The Google rating window opens.
- In Rating, type your rating as Google shows it, like 4.9.
- In Review count, type how many reviews you have, like 46.
- In Link to your Google reviews, paste the link to your reviews. Visitors who click the review count go there.
- Click Save.
- Click Publish. See Publish your site.
The builder says Google rating saved. One rating is used for the whole site. If you add the Plan Your Visit hero section to another page, its badge shows the same rating.
To get the link to your reviews, search your church’s name on Google, click your listing’s reviews, and copy the address from the top of the browser. Or, in the Google Maps app, open your church, tap Share, and copy that link.
To take the badge off your site, clear Rating and Review count, and click Save. Then publish.
If it does not work
Section titled “If it does not work”- “The rating is a number from 1.0 to 5.0, the way Google shows it.”: Type only the number, like 4.8. Leave out the stars.
- “The review count is a whole number.”: Type only the number, like 52. Leave out the word “reviews”.
- “That is not a web address we can use. Start it with https://.”: Paste the whole link, starting with https://.
- The badge does not show on my live site: Fill in both Rating and Review count, then publish. A badge with either one empty stays off your site.
