Change the words on a page

Changing the words on a page means clicking the text and typing. That is all you need to do.

  1. In the panel on the left, under Pages, click the page you want.
  2. Click the words you want to change.
  3. Type your own words.
  4. To style words, select them. Then use the bar that appears above them, for example Bold or Italic. See Format your text.
  5. To make words a link, select them and click the link button on the bar. Choose a page under Links to, or type a web address under Or a web address. Then click Save.
  6. Click Done on the bar when you finish.

A moment later, the top bar says Saved. Your change is on your site only after you publish. See Publish your site.

To take back a change, click Undo in the top bar. See Undo a change.

Some words are not typed on the page. Your church name, address, phone, email and service times fill in from Church info. Menu labels come from Menus. When you click them, the builder tells you where to change them.

Tap the words to type. Undo is under Tools in the top bar.

  • “This info fills in from your settings”: Those words come from Church info. Click Open Church info and change them there. See Set your church name and address.
  • “This menu is managed for you”: Click Open Menus to change the menu. See Change your menus.
  • Your words went back to what they were: Pressing Esc while you type throws away what you typed in that spot. Type again, then click Done or click somewhere else on the page.
  • You cannot type: Someone else may be editing the site. Only one person edits at a time. See Take over editing from someone else.
  • You are not signed in: A signed-out window can only look. See Sign in to your site.

Email info@project-go.com. Tell us your church name and what you tried.
